DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
The Scientific Committee will consider the abstracts not accepted as Oral Presentations for possible inclusion in the Poster Session.

ACCEPTANCE
The submitted abstracts will be under a review process. After that, all the abstract submitters will be communicated whether their abstract is accepted.

REGISTRATION
Speakers whose abstracts have been accepted must complete their congress registration before January 7 2026

- Registration for the Congress is not required to submit an abstract.
- Each person is allowed to submit a maximum of two abstracts on the congress’ topics as presenting author: one oral presentation and one poster or, alternatively, two posters. There is no limit to the number of abstracts submitted as co-author.
- It’s allowed to submit abstracts already presented in other conferences or Scientific Journals
- Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are entitled to register at the special fee communicated along with the acceptance email.
- Abstracts should be structured into the following sections if applicable: Context – Objective – Methods – Patient(s) – Intervention(s) – Main Outcome Measure(s) – Result(s) – Conclusions.
- The abstract cannot be longer than 2500 characters including spaces, and must be plain text. It is not possible to include tables and images, but you may insert data in the text of the abstract.
- bstracts can only be submitted using the on-line form. Abstracts submitted via email are automatically discarded.
- Submit you abstract following the online submission process and upload your file in the appropriate field.
- Once accepted, abstract cannot be modified in any of its parts (authors, content and title)
- Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
- Presenting authors of accepted abstracts will be notified within 4 November 2025 whether their abstract is accepted.
- The correctness of the authors’ personal details is entirely up to the responsibility of the author who has submitted the abstract.
- The submitting author will be also responsible for all the communication (please make sure that a valid email is submitted).
- The abstract submission indicates acknowledgement and consent for publication in the official program as well as in GREM Journal
Late-breaking abstracts
Late-breaking abstract submission opens on 12 January 2026.?The deadline for submission is 19 January 2026, 23:59 CET.
Late-breaking abstracts must present new and unpublished data that was not available by the original abstract submission deadline (28 October 2025, 23:59 CET). The submitted research should be innovative, of high scientific significance, and have a major impact, focusing on large clinical investigations or high-impact translational research.
Specific Rules for Late-Breaking Abstracts
(on top of/overruling the standard submission rules and regulations)
- Each abstract?can only be submitted once?to the ISGE2026 late-breaker submission. Duplicate submissions will not be reviewed.
- Only a very limited number of late-breaking abstracts?will be accepted, and selection will be highly competitive.
- Abstract submission is?only possible after completing congress registration.
Please note that the late-breaking abstract deadline is?not?an extension of the regular submission deadline.

The reduced fees are only valid if paid within the deadline.
*For Trainees, nurses and technicians a proof of status is required in order to complete the registration. A proof of status is an official letter written in English and signed by the head of the hospital department on official hospital letterhead and not older than 3 months
The ISGE Membership can be obtained with the congress registration only for those who register personally through the website and pay their registration fee using personal funds. The membership is complimentary and can’t therefore be considered as an additional economic value to the congress registration fee.
