The Australia and New Zealand Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (ANZSPED) is the premier professional body representing paediatric endocrinology in Australasia and is committed to high standards of clinical care, advocacy, education, stakeholder relationships and research in paediatric endocrinology. With a broad membership of paediatric endocrinologists and allied health professionals, ANZSPED is underpinned by a number of active subcommittees. We are a collegial society and welcome new members to both ANZSPED membership and also to contribute to the subcommittees and working parties.?

On behalf of the Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society (APPES), I would like to invite you to attend our joint meeting with the Australia and the New Zealand Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (ANZSPED).? This is our 2nd joint meeting with the Society, and we are excited to return to Australia after the very enjoyable and successful meeting in 2014. ANZSPED are merging their annual scientific meeting to hold it jointly with our APPES biennial meeting and both societies are working together to create a truly joint program. The meeting will be held in Brisbane, Queensland, which is easily accessible for many across the Asia Pacific Region and we are delighted to be working with ANZSPED to bring you this meeting.? We look forward to welcoming you all to enjoy the Australian hospitality, and hopefully get to meet a Koala during your stay! We hope that you will not only enjoy the science and collegiality of our meetings but that you will also take time to explore Queensland and other areas of Australia and immerse yourself in its physical beauty.
